Maxwell J. Wiesenfeld

About

I’m a Master of Architecture candidate at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with a background in architectural engineering and silversmithing.

My work moves between buildings and handmade objects. Drawing, physical models, and fabrication help me explore form, material, and how things come together.

In architecture, I’m interested in the relationship between environmental performance and spatial experience. My thesis explores an interactive design tool for coordinating light, sound, privacy, and thermal conditions.

My experience includes energy and sustainability work at SOCOTEC, design and fabrication with Frank + Hank, and teaching metalsmithing at Camp Laurel.
